  • Full-time Job Summary 3 Tall Pines is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our hemp farm operations team.
You will manage inventory accuracy across cultivation, processing, and distribution workflows, optimize stock levels for ongoing production cycles, and ensure efficient warehouse and facility logistics. Your expertise in supply chain management, data analysis, and agricultural warehousing will drive efficiency, and exceptional service for our customers and partners. This role offers opportunities to contribute to process improvements, leverage advanced analytics tools, and collaborate across cultivation, processing, procurement, and distribution functions. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through rigorous data collection and analysis using Warehouse Management Systems and ERP system. Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies, stock shortages, or excesses, implementing corrective actions promptly. Utilize data visualization tools to generate reports on inventory trends, demand planning, and supply chain analytics for strategic decision-making. Develop dashboards to monitor stock levels, harvest schedules, processing throughput, waste/rework, and demand planning for production cycles. Support warehouse distribution activities by managing stocking procedures, materials management, and production planning to ensure smooth operations. Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy Collaborate with executive leadership and sales teams by delivering inventory reporting, identifying trends, and supporting strategic planning and product availability. Skills Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, warehouse distribution, and inventory control techniques. Proficiency in warehouse management systems, open sourced and cloud based ERP platforms like Odoo, and data analytics tools. Excellent data mining skills combined with the ability to perform root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data migration, system to system transfers, and data valiation Familiarity with logistics operations such as shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, materials handling, and demand planning. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and stock control procedures. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across executive management, warehouse teams, and suppliers Qualifications Understanding of basic quality control, batch/lot tracing, and inventory valuation principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience with ERP/WMS systems (Odoo or similar) and data visualization tools.
