Parts Inventory Specialist

Copper Mountain Irrigation (CMI), a locally owned, family operated company since 2013, specializing in providing the best irrigation systems sales, installation, service and parts to farmers in North West Wyoming, is searching for a Parts Inventory Specialist and Counter Sales Assistant to provide excellent customer service and inventory support to their Worland and Riverton locations. Each day, this individual will greet customers, assess their irrigation parts needs, identify the best parts for every project and go beyond the call of duty to ensure a great customer experience every time. In addition, the Parts Inventory Specialist will perform and coordinate tasks related to part sales ordering, inventory management, customer communication, marketing and Parts Team Support. This position will work directly with the CEO and Worland General Manager to participate and/or assist in all activities related to selling, ordering and tracking parts, and ensuring all team members in the field have the parts they need for irrigation projects. This is an excellent position for someone who is familiar with the demands on farmers, knowledgeable of Zimmatic and FieldNet irrigation products, an excellent relationship builder and problem solver. The Part Inventory Lead and Counter Sales Assistant is accountable for the following

Roles & Responsibilities :

Coordinating and/or performing all tasks/activities related to Parts Sales Ordering, Inventory, Warranty Management and Vendor Relations Assisting and/or performing all tasks related to retail sales and providing excellent customer service, including helping customers identify parts and processing sales Coordinating and performing all parts administrative tasks including all parts sales and purchasing activities in the inventory software system for both Worland and Riverton locations Collaborating on, coordinating and/or performing a variety of sales and marketing activities to build the company brand and increase parts/company sales

Skills and Requirements :

2+ years' experience in irrigation/agricultural, automotive and/or hardware sales 2+ years' experience ordering parts & tracking inventory 2+ years' experience in a retail, sales, and/or customer service position/environment 1+ year's experience meeting and/or exceeding goals and weekly metrics 1+ year's experience performing a variety of sales, warranty and administrative tasks and paperwork 1+ year's experience with ordering parts, materials or supplies for medium to large projects (agricultural, construction, manufacturing, etc.) Ability to build trust with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, especially with farmers with a hard work ethic and agricultural mindset Professional verbal and written communication skills Excellent, personable phone and sales skills Excellent follow-up skills Ability to solve problems and identify new sales opportunities Knowledge of Microsoft & Google applications; Knowledgeable in Excel Spreadsheets Experience working in an Inventory Materials Request Planning System Experience creating and providing inventory and sales reports An aptitude to learn new computer programs Excellent time management and prioritization skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to lift a minimum of 25 - 50 lbs Valid Driver's license with clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug test The Ideal Candidate will have the following characteristics: Welcoming, friendly and always smiling in person and over the phone Can-do attitude; positive attitude; willing to go the extra mile Customer-centric Organized and detail oriented Excellent memory Confidential and trustworthy Appreciates feedback Always striving to learn something new to be the go-to person

Work Schedule & Requirements:

8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Monday through Friday; Some Saturdays and overtime required during irrigation season

Compensation:

Hourly rate: $ 16.00 - $ 18.00/hr+ Depending on experience and demonstrated skill sets Benefits available for full-time employees.
