General Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper to support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Birmingham, AL. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has basic mechanical skills, and is eager to learn and grow within an industrial setting. Key Responsibilities Assist with general shop duties including material handling, cleanup, and organization Support machine operators and fabricators with basic tasks and setup Utilize hand and power tools to assist with assembly, fabrication, and maintenance work Load, unload, and move materials or finished products as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
