In this vital role, you will assist the driver in safely loading, unloading, and delivering custom millwork/cabinets while providing exceptional customer service. Your proactive attitude and physical stamina will contribute to a positive delivery experience, supporting our commitment to timely and reliable service. Duties Assist the driver in loading and unloading custom millwork/cabinets, ensuring proper handling of goods through heavy lifting and moving tasks Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Strap, balance and secure loads in truck Prepare freight on pallets or crates when necessary Wrap and label items correctly Photograph items and document load Help load/unload custom millwork/cabinets onto trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized truck/warehouse area Qualifications Prior warehouse work, or delivery roles is preferred but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of custom millwork/cabinets safely and efficiently Experience operating equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Familiarity with box trucks or similar vehicles Communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in physically demanding environments Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stoop and stand on feet for long periods of time.
