The reporting location for this position is the Diablo Range District Office. This position will work under the supervision of the Senior Environmental Scientist (Supervisory). This position assists natural resource management staff in preparing and implementing projects for the fire impacts, restoration, and management of natural resources. This position will take an active role in maintaining the natural diversity and resiliency of one of Northern California's dominant topographical features, fortifying the park against the real threat of wildfires. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver's license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver's license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application. The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment. This position may work up to 1500 hours in any calendar year. This position is designated as not telework eligible.
