Entry Level Laborer

Redwood Empire, one of the preeminent redwood wholesale and remanufacturing facilities in Northern California, is looking for laborers to work in our Woodland, CA lumber remanufacturing plant. Work hours are Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm. This is a full-time, year-round position. Please apply for this position by responding directly to this posting with your contact information. Duties Include Perform a wide variety of jobs and duties as assigned, with a high level of proficiency and accuracy. Pull lumber off moving chain and slide lumber down onto appropriate unit designated by grade mark and size. Clean lumber which has fallen under chain at end of shift. Packages, wraps, and bands units. Additional duties as required New hires will be eligible for a signing bonus after completing their one-month anniversary.

Physical requirements:

Frequent lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50lbs. Frequent walking, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing. Work is performed outdoors in lumberyard and inside warehouses in varying conditions including rain, heat, and cold.
