Horse Wrangler - 12 Mile Stables 12 Mile Stables Aurora, CO Job Details Part-time | Full-time $15.16 - $25.00 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Outdoor work Customer service Cleaning Individual consumer customer service Equine experience Entry level Full Job Description We are looking for a couple wranglers to come join our team for the summer season, May through September at 12 Mile Stables, located in Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora, CO. 12 Mile Stables offers an array of fun activities, such as guided trail rides, beginner to advanced lessons in Western riding, and a children's summer day camp. It is the Wrangler's responsibility to help these activities happen in a safe, fun and timely manner. To make our business successful, efficient and fun, we ask that our team is composed of people who are fun-loving, energetic and hard-working. We also ask that people on our team have excellent customer service skills, work well in a team setting, take initiative to get daily tasks done, and are safety-conscious, as it will be part of the wranglers' duties to tend to the horses and clients. Please know that, because we work with horses, physical labor is a big portion of the job. Therefore, you will be expected to stand and/or sit in a saddle for long periods at a time and in all weather conditions, lift up to 60 lbs. and help with other various physical tasks (i.e. assisting in cleaning stalls or mending fences).
