Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver/Helper and become a vital part of ensuring timely, efficient, and friendly delivery services. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. Whether assisting with loading and unloading or navigating routes, your energy and attention to detail will drive our success and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers' locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency and ensure timely arrivals. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns. Support the driver with route driving duties, helping navigate through city streets or rural areas as needed. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries made, loads transported, and any issues encountered during routes. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met and report any mechanical issues promptly. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is preferred. Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving best practices. Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes, pallets, or equipment. Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and proper vehicle maintenance routines. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments that require manual transmission driving and heavy lifting throughout the day.
