Responsibilities Assist the driver in loading and unloading packages from box trucks, ensuring all items are handled with care and safety. Help with heavy lifting and moving items to facilitate efficient deliveries, including navigating stairs or tight spaces. Support route driving by providing navigation assistance and helping to manage delivery schedules. Load and unload goods at various locations using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, verifying addresses and delivery instructions. Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers, providing excellent customer service throughout each stop. Help keep the delivery vehicle organized, clean, and ready for daily routes, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Previous experience in warehouse work or delivery driving is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks safely and efficiently. Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or box trucks is advantageous. Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles and navigating route driving scenarios confidently. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move items throughout the workday; ability to handle heavy loads safely.
