Driver Helper 1200 Cassville White Rd NE, White, GA 30184 From $23 an hour - Full-time From $23 an hour - Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated Driver Helper to join our logistics team, supporting delivery operations through efficient loading, unloading, and assisting with route driving. This role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, physically capable of heavy lifting, and possess a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and delivery protocols. Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent 6+ months in warehouse environment and interfacing with customers within foodservice industry

Primary Responsibilities:

The Driver Helper rides with and assist Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. Assist the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers using a dolly, scanning product, customer service and clearing out trailer at end of route Loads and unloading truck and/or company vehicles Places products in areas identified by customers. Completes required documentation in a timely manner. Performs other related duties as assigned.
