Utility Laborer

Utility Laborer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Utility Laborer to join our team on the 1st shift. This role involves assisting with machine operations, material handling, and supporting the welding and paint booth teams. The position is based in Tipton and provides a dynamic environment where teamwork is essential. Responsibilities Assist with machine operating duties on shears and press brakes. Occasionally grind or de-burr parts for the welding team. Support operations in the paint booth as needed. Gather raw materials and maintain a clean shop environment. Operate end loaders, front end loaders, and bobcats, primarily working outside. Load finished materials onto flatbed trucks in an organized manner. Stage and build orders of finished structural steel. Work in outbound or loaded areas, moving materials from inside to outside. Move materials weighing multiple tons and up to 30 ft long, working in teams. Maintain a high level of communication and teamwork. Essential Skills Experience with material handling and inventory management. Proficiency in shipping and receiving operations. Skills in using forklifts, pallet jacks, front end loaders, and bobcats. Excellent communication and organizational skills. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a production welding environment is highly beneficial. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
