Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic growing local pool construction company as a Driver/Material Handler and become a vital part of our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials to and from job sites, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of construction supplies. This is a hands-on, on the road position that will help keep our projects run smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to and contribute to high-quality pool installations in a fast-paced environment in the Treasure Valley. No two days are the same. Responsibilities Safely drive trucks and trailers to load, unload, and transport materials between parts houses, supply houses & active job sites to deliver materials and supplies Ability to tow large, long trailers carrying equipment & supplies Load and unload construction materials & heavy equipment such as pipes, pumps, filters, tile and other pool components with precision and care. Conduct materials handling with heavy lifting techniques while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Support construction teams by delivering materials promptly and efficiently Fill in and assist crew members on construction sites when needed Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and keep accurate delivery records Qualifications Driving and trucks & trailers (towing and maneuvering is a must) Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. (up to 75 pounds) Dependable, punctual and a self-starter Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong organizational skills Construction or pool industry experience is a bonus
