Job Description

High School Graduates Welcome-no Experience Required Will Be Trained on the Job and Unlimited Overtime. Finish Excavating is looking for full time civil workers. We have been in business since 1994, and are a leader in the telecommunications industry. This position requires travel. Applicants can frequently expect to be gone during the week, staying overnight in hotels. Previous industry experience unnecessary. This position will have significant advancement opportunities. We provide in house training. Pay based on skill level and previous experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate machinery including fork truck, skid loaders, and excavators Operate handheld tools including compactors, shovels, hammers Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections of equipment Lay and tie rebar to the plan layout Travel is required
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability and willingness to learn how to read plans, take measurements and set up forms in preparing to pour and finish concrete Ability to follow oral & written instructions Ability to lift, twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, stand, climb ladders, and walk on uneven ground for extended periods Ability to lift 75lbs Ability to meet physical demands of duties Ability to work outside & withstand varied inclement weather conditions Use safety equipment 100% of the time and work in a safe manner Ability and willingness to obtain all necessary training: OSHA, RF, First Aid & CPR Maintain a valid Driver's License Willing to obtain CDL High School Diploma/GED Basic Computer Skills
