Job Description

Village Of Hudson is a small municipality located just North of Normal, Illinois. Full Time Laborer Village of Hudson Public Works
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License .Must pass the written test of the Class D Water License within 18 months of employment. .Must obtain a Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment. .Must live within 10 miles of Village of Hudson. .Must be available for on call situations/emergencies 24/7 (water breaks, storm clean up, snow removal)
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to meet other physical demands of the job. (working in heat, cold, wet, and dirty conditions)
  • Skills/Knowledge needed to be successful: Operate the following pieces of machinery: 1.
Zero Turn 2. Utility Tractor 3. Roller 4. Vactor 5. Dump Truck 6. Backhoe 7. Snow Plow 8. Power Tools Learn water license regulations and testing procedures, learn zoning rules of the Village, be able to issue building permits, learn building codes for inspections.
Pay/Benefits:
  • Pay Rate $22.00 -$26.00 based on experience. .IMRF Retirement .Paid Health Insurance for Employee .Paid Time Off
