Overview Seeking dependable and eager laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in physically demanding environments and a record of reliable and consistent attendance. Scrap International is a fast-growing company that specializes in the purchasing, processing, and re-selling of recycled metal products. Experience in the scrap industry is not required. This general labor position is the ground-floor in our company. Employees enter the company at this level, completing general labor tasks as assigned, and have opportunities to work up to more specific tasks and duties, such as working with customers, operating heavy machinery, or using specialized tools. Responsibilities

• Process various metals using hand and power tools (get paid to break things!)
• Identify, weigh, sort, and store various materials
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Follow safety protocols at all times
• Utilize forklifts or other machinery when appropriate
• Other general labor tasks as assigned Experience
• Previous experience in a scrap, construction, or processing setting is beneficial
• Ability to use mechanical and electrical tools effectively
• Ability to lift upwards of 50 lb on an irregular basis
• Track record of consistent and reliable attendance Benefits
