Non Ferrous Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations, ensuring a clean and efficient work environment. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to process metals and materials from the general public and commercial companies. Duties Sort and separate non-ferrous materials Float between our non ferrous warehouse and the pedestrian pile Identify different types of materials Operate machinery and equipment to process materials Ensure safety procedures are always followed Maintain a clean and organized work area Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills Experience working in a salvage yard with non-ferrous materials Knowledge of different types of materials Ability to operate machinery and equipment Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills Excellent customer service skills Proficient computer skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance a must Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
