Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of a full-time Laborer located within the Facilities Services Division to perform basic maintenance tasks throughout BRCC's campus. Minimum Qualifications No experience or training is required. Performs basic maintenance tasks such as replacing ceiling tiles, changing light bulbs, cleaning mechanical spaces, assisting with minor repairs, clearing debris, and supporting routine building upkeep. Assists with outdoor work including trash removal, light landscaping, pressure washing, walkway cleaning, and maintaining exterior campus areas. Moves furniture, equipment, and materials; assists with event setups; delivers supplies across departments; and supports work requiring physical labor. Follows safety procedures, uses proper PPE, reports hazards, and maintains clean, safe work areas. Other Duties as Assigned Provides additional labor support to maintenance staff as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Position-Specific Details:

Probationary appointment with a one-year agency probationary period. Successful completion of this period is required before obtaining permanent status.Compensation:
