Job Description
Full-Time Collections Laborer The Scarborough Sanitary District is seeking a Full-Time Collections Laborer. The Collections Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of services necessary in the daily operations of the collection system. The Collections Laborer must be able to respond directly to emergency situations and be on call on a rotating basis. The successful candidate must possess the following:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Work experience in a wastewater facility preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Strong work ethic, attention to details and team player
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid interpersonal skills required. Must be adaptable and resilient to different personalities and backgrounds.
- Must get along with others.
- Dependable, ability to follow instruction, and respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance.
Licenses/Certifications:
