• Pay Rate:

• _The pay rate for this job is $17.50 - $18.00 / hour
• _ •What you'll be doing as a

General Laborer:

• + Sort and separate ferrous and non-ferrous materials based on grade and quality + Assist with loading and unloading scrap materials from trucks and containers + Operate or assist with heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or material handlers (based on experience and certification) + Direct truck traffic and support safe flow of vehicles within the yard + Inspect materials for contaminants or prohibited items + Maintain a clean and organized yard, including debris removal and general upkeep + Support torching, cutting, or basic processing tasks as needed (if experienced) + Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times + Communicate effectively with supervisors, scale operators, and team members •Available shifts:•Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) •Job requirements:•+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + Previous experience in scrap yard, recycling, construction, demolition, or heavy industrial environments preferred + Heavy equipment experience required or strongly preferred (forklift, skid steer, excavator, material handler, etc.

) + Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment + Strong work ethic and reliability + Basic understanding of safety practices in an industrial setting + Background check and Drug test required
