Qualifications CDL B Full Job Description Responsibilities/Job Description:
The Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight, coordination, and performance management of the CPC driver/material team. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient transportation of sterile and contaminated instruments, in alignment with DOT regulations, biohazard handling standards, and AAMI guidelines. The Supervisor will lead quality improvement initiatives, support training, and optimize route productivity. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day supervision and accountability for a team of full-time, part-time, and casual drivers. Monitor and enforce compliance with DOT, OSHA, and biohazard transport regulations. Conduct regular audits of driver logs, temperature tracking, and route documentation. Support onboarding and ongoing training for drivers, including sterile processing protocols. Collaborate with the Operational Manager to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions. Utilize mobile technology (e.g., iPhones) for data tracking and performance monitoring. Assess and restructure driver routes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk. Prepare for and support compliance with AAMI standards. Respond to and investigate incidents, near misses, and Compass reports related to driver safety. Required Qualifications 2 years supervisory or management experience in one or more of the following areas: transportation, logistics, supply chain, materials management Class B Drivers License Cert Reg Central Serv Tech within 1 Year Preferred Qualifications
A.A./A.S.
in supply chain, Business, Management, Surgical Technology, or a related field or
B.S./B.A.
in supply chain, Business, Management, Surgical Technology, or a related field or Combination Education & Experience Experience as a Surgical Technologist in a surgical setting, including supervisory and/or management responsibilities. Supervisory or management experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Sterile Processing, or Surgical Services beyond the minimum required experience. Certified Instrument Processing Technician (CRCST) Surgical Technologist Cert (CST)
