About Us Forrest Keeling Nursery is a visionary leader in native plant production, recognized for seven decades of expertise and more than thirty years of independent research. Native plants are our passion and our brand—we produce the highest‑quality native plant material on the market through our patented RPM® (Root Production Method) system. About the Role The Loading Crew / Order Pulling Laborer plays an essential role in ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared, efficiently staged, and safely loaded. This hands‑on position supports the daily workflow of the loading dock and will-call areas while also assisting with general nursery maintenance during slower periods. You'll work closely with management and other team members to maintain smooth operations, uphold quality standards, and provide reliable support wherever it's needed. What You'll Do Pull orders accurately based on pick tickets Stage completed orders in designated will‑call and loading dock areas Assist with nursery maintenance tasks including pulling weeds, pruning trees, and staking prepped orders Load semis, customer vehicles, and pallets efficiently and safely Turn in all paperwork promptly to the appropriate staff Communicate with management whenever issues arise with orders or materials Assist with general nursery tasks during slower periods, such as pruning trees, pulling weeds, staking plants, and consolidating bays Support additional tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly What We're Looking For Previous experience in horticulture or nursery operations is preferred Ability to lift and load 1‑gallon to 15‑gallon plants onto wagons, customer vehicles, and semi-trailers Consistent ability to lift approximately 50 lbs as part of daily duties Strong work ethic, self‑motivation, and a commitment to working efficiently Prior experience operating forklifts and skid loaders Basic English reading comprehension to follow pick tickets and instructions is required Ability to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods Dependability, punctuality, and willingness to take direction What We Offer Vacation and Sick pay
