Job Description

Pay:
$21-$23 an hour
Hours:
Monday - Friday 6:30am-5:30pm or anywhere from 50-55 hour weeks
Description:
Martin Marietta is currently looking for a motivated individual to join our rock solid team at the Marshall Quarry in Marshall, MO. This position is responsible for assisting with cleaning and organizing duties around the quarry.
Responsibilities:
Organizing around the plant and cleaning up Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls Empty trash and recycling bins Stock and maintain supply rooms Dust furniture and fixtures Washing and clean windows and mirrors Vacuum, sweep and mop floors Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed Maintain outdoor quarry Run errands for the plant, such as supplies and parts In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined, the successful candidate may be expected to take on other tasks and assignments as required, including but not limited to duties outside the typical scope of the role to support overall team operations and organizational needs. Flexibility and adaptability to evolving job demands are essential.

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist, visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination, manual dexterity, repetitive motion, standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, bending and stooping, working from a elevated position and the ability to drive. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position that regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
