Description Temporary full time from June 1, 2026 - Nov. 30, 2026. Operating self-propelled equipment that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or windrows crops such as corn, wheat, milo, barley; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment; performing safety checks on equipment; maintaining and repairing equipment and other tools; transporting crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas, and transporting equipment and other tools used for harvesting from one field to another; informing managers of crop progress; cleaning work areas. 3 months experience required. In view of the statutorily established basic function of the Employment Service (ES) as a no-fee labor exchange that is as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) nor the State Workforce Agencies (SWA) are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers. Nor does any job order accepted or recruited upon by the ES constitute a contractual job offer to which the ETA or a SWA is in any way a party. Employer will accept collect calls from Job Services offices that have qualified applicants ready for phone interviews. If employer cannot be reached, call collect to liaison representatives (see itinerary) who will try to contact the employer at the job site. Potential US workers (referrals) will be accepted from the local Job Service Office, through word-of mouth, gate hires (walk-up workers), and other sources. All applicants should be thoroughly familiarized with the job specifications and terms and conditions of employment on the job order. Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. In the event the employer receives phone calls or walk-up workers interested in the job offer, the employer will inform the worker of the job requirements and duties, must consider the worker for the job based on the workers qualifications, and must report the results in the final recruitment report submitted to the US Department of Labor. A US worker referred by the Employment Service before any temporary labor certification is granted must be available and willing to join the employers crew by the date of need and at the place w the employers grain harvesting will begin, and to remain with the crew for the balance of the itinerary. A US worker referred after a temporary labor certification has been granted must be available and willing to join the crew at the place w the crew is located at the time, and remain with the crew for the balance of the itinerary. Employer will accept calls for interviews and in-person, from Monday to Saturday, from 830 am to 530 pm.
