Job Description

Overview:
Northwest Landworks is seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking individual with at least 2 years of experience as a laborer or for a operator position, 5 year experience for operator in excavation. The ideal candidate is physically fit, dependable, and eager to grow within the excavation industry. These positions will be project based and will last approximately 3 months. Our company is based in Spirit Lake, ID, performing a public works job in Helena, Montana. We are performing water main install, water services, hydrant install, sewer main install, sewer service install, backfill and grading. Experience in these tasks are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Perform general labor tasks, including laying pipe, shoveling, and general labor tasks Assist with excavation and site preparation Lift and carry materials weighing 50 lbs or more Adhere to all safety standards and follow directions from supervisors Backfill and compaction Run loader, bringing material to pipe crew, dumping bedding, etc.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a laborer , and 5 year experience for operator in excavation Physically capable of performing manual labor in all weather conditions Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to Helena, MT, must be within 30 miles for Laborer, must be within 75 miles for Operator Heavy equipment operator experience is a plus, but not required
