Responsibilities:

Ensure all tasks are preformed according to company policies and procedures. Ensure workplace safety - getting out of truck and assisting with backing up from outside the truck, staying awake with Driver during trips, watching road and being another set of eyes on the road. Load and unload products from trucks or trailers. Put product away at customer locations based on customer specifications. Assists maintaining the vehicle and equipment, keeping it clean and safe. Assists with vehicle inspections before and after each trip. Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks. Make sure inventory being delivered matches manifest. Report any incident to supervisor immediately. Attention to detail in all aspects of the safe transportation of food products and food ware-housing practices. Follow all company and state-enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading products.

Basic Requirements:

Strong work ethic. Prior experience lumping and moving 1,500+ cases daily Ability to follow all safety protocols including spotting the Driver in close quarter maneuvers. Ability to work around vehicles in a safe manner, including completing vehicle inspections. The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly. Lifting, bending, and moving for long hours. Excellent communication skills. The ability to respond quickly to sounds. The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations. The ability to see well at night. The ability to work flexible hours. Must be able to work overnight. Must be able to work Friday and Sunday nights.
