Job Description

Resin Freight Loader/unloader Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused employee for a Monday through Friday position supporting shipping, receiving, and production operations. This role is responsible for loading customer pickups, unloading incoming shipments and chemical deliveries, operating forklifts, and assisting in production activities as needed. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong commitment to safety, attendance, teamwork, and operational efficiency. Schedule Monday through Friday (day shift) Hours may vary based on operational needs and customer pickups Occasional overtime may be required Essential Duties & Responsibilities Load palletized products onto customer trucks and trailers for pickup Verify load accuracy Unload incoming shipments of supplies, materials, and chemical deliveries Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Inspect forklifts and equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concerns Maintain organized shipping, receiving, and storage areas Assist with inventory handling and material movement throughout the facility Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Meet company attendance and punctuality expectations Assist in production operations and plant activities as needed Work closely with supervisors and team members to support daily operational goals Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment Complete required documentation and shipping/receiving records accurately Qualifications Previous forklift experience preferred Ability to safely handle and move palletized materials and chemical shipments Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment Strong attention to safety and detail Dependable attendance and punctuality required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic communication and problem-solving skills Ability to operate a computer or iPad for order tracking, emails, etc. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in varying weather and plant conditions Ability to safely operate industrial equipment for extended periods Must be able to wear required PPE Safety Requirements Must comply with all company safety policies and procedures Must safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment Must follow all procedures related to chemical handling and deliveries Must immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment concerns Preferred Experience Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or industrial experience Forklift certification or prior forklift operation experience Experience working around chemical deliveries or industrial materials preferred
