Forklift Driver/Material Handler Kelley Bean Company

  • Monday-Friday On-site About the Role Kelley Bean Company is seeking dependable, career-oriented individuals to join our team at our dry edible bean facility in Morrill, NE.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment where safety, quality, and teamwork matter. A material handler maintains product and supplies required by packaging personnel. The material handler will pull materials from the case warehouse on a first in, first out basis, deliver materials and supplies to packaging, perform updates and troubleshooting of case printers, maintain department cleanliness, ensure documentation accuracy, and effectively communicate with all department personnel. What You'll Do Ensure Packaging inventory levels of the following are always maintained for production purposes. Product
  • Transfer required material and maintain pit levels preventing lines from shutting down. Poly
  • Transfer required poly from warehouse to packaging area ensuring lot number accuracy. Boxes
  • Transfer required boxes from warehouse to packaging area.
Proper operation and upkeep of forklifts o Licensed in proper operation. o Perform daily forklift checks. o Report mechanical/operational issues o Cleanliness Maintain Department Cleanliness to Prevent Contamination of Products o Pit Area o Dock Area o Material Storage Warehouse (Sweeping aisles, picking up trash, etc) o Recycling of Cardboard/Super Sacks in bailer Maintain packaging line printers. o Updating of Data Base Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
What We're Looking For:
Dependable and reliable attendance Proven work history Agricultural experience (preferred) Forklift experience (preferred) Mechanical or basic repair skills (preferred) Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Experience:
Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred) Forklift experience: 1 year (preferred)
