Summary:
Performs unskilled and semi-skilled laboring tasks at Regional Fish Hatchery and assists with fish distribution.

Responsibilities:
DETAILED TASKS
(AGENCY/POSITION-SPECIFIC): Cleans incubators, tanks, pools and troughs and assists in sterilizing those areas. Weighs and sorts fish into lots for stocking ponds and streams. Prepares fish food according to established specifications; dispenses food to the fish. Assists in transferring fish from hatchery to hatchery, hatchery to pond or river/stream. Assists in the maintenance of hatchery buildings and grounds equipment, including painting and cleaning hatchery pools. Mows lawns, cuts brush and shrubbery, and shovels snow.
