May 11, 2026The Summer Laborer (May/June through August/September) supports safe and efficient site operations by performing general labor duties, inspections, light mechanical work, and site maintenance. This role contributes to maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant work environment while gaining exposure to mining operations and equipment.

This is a temporary summer position (3 months) is based out of Winnemucca, NV with site based work performed across the Nevada sites. The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 4 -10-hour shifts with occasional overtime as required. Some travel may be required. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform all work safely and in compliance with company policies, MSHA regulations, and environmental standards Conduct pre-shift and workplace inspections; identify, report, and help mitigate safety and environmental hazards Perform general labor duties including shoveling, material handling, and site clean-up Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work areas Operate and assist in maintaining support equipment such as light vehicles, skid steers, and forklifts Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, including reporting unsafe conditions Demonstrate strong attendance, reliability, and accountability Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age at hire date and authorized to work in the United States. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Must be a 2026 high school graduate or a college/vocational student enrolled in the 2026 fall semester. General understanding of mining, maintenance, or mechanical systems preferred. Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, loaders, or similar equipment preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word) preferred. Ability to meet physical demands and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
