Full Time Laborer

The Village of Altamont seeks a candidate for the Department of Public Works. The Village will provide training for the candidate to obtain a wastewater certificate within 24 months of employment. As part of the public works team, employees perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: water and wastewater plant maintenance and testing, park maintenance, mowing, plowing, seasonal projects, road and infrastructure maintenance.

This position requires:

attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, ability to work as part of a team, accuracy, responsibility, and a great attitude and work ethic.

Salary:

$25 per hour with incentive pay for CDL License. Increased starting salary for wastewater or water certification. Opportunity for advancement.
