About Us AlphaOne Fulfillment Inc is a fulfillment and logistics company dedicated to providing reliable warehousing, freight handling, and distribution services. We are committed to efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Freight Sorter to join our warehouse operations team. Job Summary The Freight Sorter is responsible for sorting, organizing, and preparing incoming and outgoing freight for shipment and distribution. This role ensures that all packages and materials are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures. Responsibilities Sort incoming and outgoing freight by destination, route, or shipment type. Inspect packages for damage and report discrepancies. Verify labels, shipping information, and documentation accuracy. Organize freight in designated staging and storage areas. Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed. Maintain accurate records of sorted and processed freight. Support warehouse operations and inventory control activities. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times. Assist team members with additional warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.
