In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving freight safely and efficiently within a warehouse or distribution environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe workplace. Key Responsibilities Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and containers Sort, stack, and organize shipments by destination or route Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies Label and scan packages using handheld devices or warehouse systems Maintain accurate inventory and documentation Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Follow company procedures and safety regulations at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse or freight handling experience is a plus Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills Work Environment Warehouse or distribution center setting May involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Exposure to varying temperatures depending on facility
