Job Responsibilities:

Cleaning floors by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, or scrubbing Cleaning and shampooing rugs/carpets Removing spots/graffiti from floors, walls, woodwork, furniture, carpets, and fixtures Cleaning, dusting, and polishing woodwork, furniture, glass, etc Washing/scrubbing walls, lavatory fixtures, windows, drinking fountains, drains, lights, and painted surfaces Servicing soap/towel dispensers and similar containers Emptying/cleaning wastepaper baskets and other refuse containers Cleaning marker boards, trays, and erasers Moving/adjusting chairs, desks, tables, supplies, furniture, and equipment Operating power sweepers, polishers, and other equipment May be required to move or assemble/disassemble furniture, equipment, etc May assist other crafts in emergencies or as needs arise Conforming to safety standards Job Qualifications Ability to lift, bend, stand and work for extended periods Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle supplies
