Outdoor Laborer

Are you dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors in a physically active role? Camp Sandusky is seeking an Outdoor Laborer to join our seasonal team. As an Outdoor Laborer, you will help keep the campground clean, safe, and running smoothly for our guests. This position plays an important role in maintaining our grounds, facilities, and equipment throughout the season.

Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and upkeep of campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds. Help maintain the campground's cleanliness and appearance by collecting trash, landscaping, and performing general upkeep. Assist with repairs, painting, staining, power washing, and other improvement projects. Help ensure guest utilities and campground systems are functioning properly. Perform maintenance tasks, including maintaining toilets, replacing damaged items, and making basic repairs. Assist with pool maintenance, mowing, weed eating, garbage pickup, and general equipment upkeep. Operate tools and equipment safely and report maintenance concerns as needed. Schedule /

Availability:

This is a seasonal position, running from early May through early September , with possible extension depending on business needs. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Applicants should be available to work morning and/or day shifts , and flexible availability is preferred. Additional work may be available before or after the main season, depending on business needs and your skill set.

Reliability and punctuality Ability to work independently and stay productive Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods Ability to safely operate maintenance tools, landscaping equipment, and other job-related equipment Basic maintenance experience in areas such as repairs, landscaping, plumbing, or electrical work is preferred.
