Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Landscape Laborers. As a key member of our crew, you will play a crucial role in the physical aspects of landscape projects such as fence, retaining wall, drainage, sod, and flower bed installations as well as maintenance. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and thrive in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:
Site Preparation:
Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, grading, and ensuring a clean and organized work area.
Material Handling:
Transport and handle materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
Manual Labor:
Engage in various physical tasks, including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects, to support construction activities.
Planting and Sodding:
Participate in the installation of plants, trees, shrubs, and sod according to design plans, ensuring proper planting techniques.
Hardscape Assistance:
Aid in the construction of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls by assisting with excavation, leveling, and material placement.
Equipment Operation:
Learn and operate basic landscape construction tools and equipment under supervision, including but not limited to compactors, track steer, excavators, and power tools.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members, following instructions and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself, your co-workers, client, and property.
Adaptability:
Be adaptable and willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities as required by the dynamic nature of landscape construction projects.
Qualifications:
Has values of timeliness, integrity, and honesty with co-workers and clients. Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous manual labor in various weather conditions. Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced co-workers. Basic understanding of landscaping and various landscaping project principles is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects and work well in a team-oriented setting. Ability to work unsupervised if needed. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and clients in various scenarios of a project. High school diploma or equivalent. Driver's License Required 2 years' experience in landscaping project installation. Note:
