Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver Helper and be a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our customers! In this energetic role, you will assist experienced delivery drivers in safely loading, unloading, and transporting goods using box trucks and other commercial vehicles. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help ensure timely deliveries while providing friendly, professional customer interactions. Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when needed Help carry heavy or bulky items during deliveries, utilizing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury Support route driving by preparing delivery routes, verifying addresses, and ensuring all packages are accounted for Load trucks accurately based on delivery schedules and customer priorities Aid in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety checks before and after routes Interact courteously with customers during drop-offs, providing excellent customer service and addressing basic inquiries Help document delivery activities, including load & unload logs, delivery confirmations, and incident reports Experience Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading operations is preferred Experience in delivery driver roles or courier services is highly valued Ability to operate box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission is a plus Knowledge of route driving best practices for efficiency and safety Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks consistently throughout the day Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks enhances your suitability for this role Strong customer service skills combined with reliable driving history contribute to success in this position Join us to be part of a motivated team dedicated to delivering excellence!
