Overview Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver Helper and be a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our customers! In this energetic role, you will assist experienced delivery drivers in safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations. Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages from box trucks and other commercial vehicles Help carry items to customers' doorsteps, ensuring safe handling of heavy or bulky goods Support route driving by helping navigate delivery schedules and directions Use manual transmission vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, or load & unload equipment as needed to facilitate deliveries Maintain safety standards during loading, unloading, and delivery processes Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any questions or concerns Support warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, moving goods within the facility, and preparing shipments for delivery Experience Prior experience in customer service or warehouse operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with commercial driving, especially box trucks or similar vehicles, is advantageous Hands-on experience with load & unload procedures, route driving, or courier services is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving of packages safely and efficiently Knowledge of forklift operation, pallet jack use, or manual transmission driving is beneficial but not mandatory Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role This position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build their driving expertise while supporting a team committed to delivering outstanding service.
