Parties to Go is a woman founded and owned family business that has been helping the Southern Willamette Valley celebrate every occasion for over 40 years! We exist to serve our community and bring joy to every gathering that invites us to be part of their plan. As a crew member, you will be working in a small team to install and tear down equipment for various events, such as festivals, weddings, fundraisers an more. You will work with your teammates and lead ensure a smooth and successful event. To be a successful crew member, you should have experience in a team-based environment, a positive outlook, an eagerness to learn and customer service skills. Prior experience in the event industry is appreciated, but not required. Crew members are expected to execute the safe and quality installation of basic tents, stages, lighting, dancefloors, and other event equipment. On the job training will be provided. As a crew member you maintain a safe, fun, and team-oriented environment. You should possess good communication and problem-solving skills. This is a physical position requires heavy lifting and endurance. You will spend many full work days out in the elements rain or shine.
Crew Member Responsibilities:
Load, unload, transport, install, and tear down event equipment
Clean and maintain rental equipment
Pull and put away equipment
Ensure compliance with fire code, safety standards, and customer expectations
Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with teammates and clients
Crew Member Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge or ability to learn installation of basic event equipment
Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs in various conditions
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, early mornings, and holidays
Good customer service and problem-solving skills
Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills Preferred, but not required
Forklift certified
Prior event experience
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.50 per hour
