Full-time Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to assist in our lab with manual tasks. This role involves physical work including surface preparation and sample handling and provides a pathway for growth into other lab positions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform surface preparation (grinding) on steel samples Assist Lab Technicians with test preparation and general support Organize, clean, and maintain lab equipment and workspaces Handle and move materials as needed Moving materials with pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. Follow safety and quality standards Support other areas of the lab as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Prior experience in a lab or industrial environment is a plus Willingness to learn and follow instructions Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods Strong work ethic and dependability Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
