CUMBERLAND TOWNSHIP AUTHORITY FULL-TIME LABORER CUMBERLAND TOWNSHIP, ADAMS COUNTY, PA

The Cumberland Township Authority is recruiting for a full-time Wastewater Treatment Plant Laborer to join our operations team serving Cumberland Township in Adams County, Pennsylvania. This is a hands-on, operational role assisting in the routine monitoring, maintenance and repair of wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations and related infrastructure. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Operations Manager and Plant Superintendent and will be an important member of our public utility team.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Valid Class C driver's license required; candidate must have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL. Passing results on a background check, medical exam and drug screening are required prior to hire.

Primary Duties:

Monitor and perform routine maintenance at wastewater treatment facilities and remote pump stations. Assist with mechanical and electrical repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, cleaning and site upkeep. Respond to after-hours callouts on a rotating schedule and perform weekend coverage as assigned. Follow all safety procedures, maintain accurate logs and report to supervisory staff. Schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some required callouts and rotating weekend responsibilities.
