Laborer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This position is responsible for cutting rail to specified lengths using a torch, drilling rail according to order requirements, and preparing materials for shipment by palletizing and organizing orders. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cut rail to precise measurements using oxy-acetylene or similar torch equipment Drill rail sections accurately based on customer or job specifications Palletize and organize materials for outgoing orders Ensure all products meet quality standards before shipment Operate yard tools and equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a labor, manufacturing, or metalworking environment preferred Experience with torch cutting and drilling equipment is a plus Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed instructions Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Dependable with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials (50+ lbs) Standing, bending, and working in an industrial environment for extended periods Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
