This role involves supporting a work crew in building grain bins, bucket leg elevators, augers, and other grain-handling structures as project needs arise. When not on construction sites, the laborer will assist with shop work and general duties on the home farm. Candidates with welding, concrete pouring/finishing, or mechanical experience may be eligible for higher starting pay.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist crew with construction of grain bins, bucket legs, augers, and other grain-handling equipment Support concrete forming, pouring, and finishing for equipment foundations Perform shop duties and general farm tasks when not on active construction projects Travel with the foreman from the home farm to job sites; overnight stays may be required for distant projects (all travel expenses covered). Work safely at heights and follow all safety procedures Maintain organization, demonstrate mechanical aptitude, and adapt to changing project needs

Requirements:

Reliable and dependable work ethic Valid driver's license Personal vehicle for transportation to the home farm Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks Strong mechanical aptitude; welding or concrete experience preferred
