Smith Excavating and Construction is a small business in Renovo, PA. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team. We provide excavation, demolition, and construction services for residential, commercial, oil and gas, municipal, state and federal agencies.

We Are Looking For:

We are looking for someone to perform general laborer and operator duties. Previous experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.

Job Duties/Skills:

Perform manual labor Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, haul trucks, etc. Proficient in the use of drills, skill saws, jackhammers, etc. Perform general and preventive maintenance work on equipment Perform minor repairs on equipment Assist excavation or backfill activities with the use of a pick, shovel, etc.

Job Requirements:

Valid Driver's License Ability to pass random drug tests and background checks Ability to work in adverse weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain and other weather-related aspects Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials on jobsite

Work Hours:

Job sites are located throughout PA. Transportation is provided to and from the site. Monday thru Friday - typical 10+ hours day Possible Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, Night Shift if necessary
