Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landfill Laborer and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient disposal process. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, managing waste materials, and ensure environmental compliance and operational excellence. Your proactive approach will help keep the landfill running smoothly while promoting safety and sustainability. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, front-end loaders, water trucks, and dump trucks to move materials efficiently. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using appropriate machinery and manual labor when necessary. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to transport materials or equipment around the site. Monitor equipment operation for safety and maintenance needs, reporting any issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance. Experience Prior experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, or similar equipment is preferred. Experience in manufacturing or sanitation environments is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual labor consistently. Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. Join us in making a positive impact!
