Job Summary:
The Laborer will be consistently unloading tires from trucks and trailers and will perform other duties whenever needed so adaptability and flexibility are key qualities for this position. The Laborer will be working in the elements of the weather. The work hours for this position are 9:30am-6:00pm. Monday-Friday with occasional
Saturdays Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor system to ensure equipment is running and working properly. Reports any unusual noise or equipment malfunction to Supervisor. Uses a Forklift to move products around in the warehouse. Stack 50 lb. bags onto pallets. Roll tires onto the conveyor belt. Replaces bags filled with products with empty bags. Responsible for keeping the equipment, warehouse floor, and yard clean.
Skills and Abilities:
Have excellent attention to detail and be able to inspect with accuracy and speed. Must be able lift up to 100 pounds repetitively throughout the day. Be DEPENDABLE and have reliable transportation. Have steel toe boots.
Background and Drug Screening:
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Education and Experience:
Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
