Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Torch Cutter - 6 FT to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating torch cutting equipment to precisely cut metal materials according to specifications. Your expertise will contribute to efficient production processes, ensuring high-quality outputs while maintaining safety standards. MONDAY - FRIDAY AND SATURDAY'S AS NEEDED PAY
: $15- $17 PAY
DEPENDS ON THE EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities Operate torch cutting machinery with precision, ensuring accurate cuts on various metal materials. Prepare materials by measuring, marking, and setting up workpieces for cutting operations. Use heavy equipment such as loaders, forklifts, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, and excavators to handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing regular cleaning and sanitation of tools and equipment. Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate heavy machinery, ensuring safe handling of large or heavy items. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures to promote a secure work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in torch cutting or metal fabrication within a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation including loaders, forklifts, excavators, and garbage trucks. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Familiarity with sanitation practices and maintaining a clean work environment. Prior experience working with front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, or similar machinery is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Physical stamina to stand, lift, and operate machinery throughout shifts. $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
