Powder Coat Helper Level 1

Position Description:

Ameritex is seeking an energetic individual to join our finishing team as a Powder Coat Helper Level 1 - General Labor. This entry-level role supports the powder coating line by handling materials, organizing parts, and keeping the finishing area clean and safe. We are looking for people with hustle - individuals who work hard, stay busy, and take initiative without waiting to be told.

Core Responsibilities:

Move parts in and out of the powder coat staging areas. Assist with hanging, un-hanging, and racking parts under supervision. Clean and maintain powder coat shop floors, booths, and equipment areas. Organize parts by job travelers or racks. Assist with packaging and palletizing finished parts. Follow all safety and PPE requirements for finishing environments. Must follow all safety rules, including required PPE for the work area, and be able to safely lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.

Skills & Requirements:

Willingness to do physical labor in a hot, fast-paced finishing environment. Ability to repeatedly lift and hang parts up to 50 lbs. Attention to safety, especially regarding PPE and coatings equipment. No experience required; training provided.

Advancement Path:

Show reliability and consistency in handling and racking parts. After 6+ months, eligible to move into Powder Coat Helper Level 2, assisting with quality and line operation.
