TITLE:

Laborer

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Laborer Production contributes to the manufacturing environment by supporting daily operations, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering consistent, high-quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior forklift operating experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic mechanical and math aptitude Available to work any shift as needed Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist Cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators Operates and maintains forklift trucks in a proper and safe manner including the daily maintenance inspection. Performs general plant labor including light plant cleaning and taking out trash to the dumpsters Trains to assist on machinery in production plant Adheres to all company safety and housekeeping procedures.
