Freight Loader

Effex is looking for motivated Freight Loaders for a warehouse and distribution client. No experience? No problem — we provide on-site training! As a Freight Loader , you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, sorting, and moving freight within a warehouse environment while ensuring shipments are prepared accurately and on time.

Position Summary:

The Freight Loader is responsible for handling freight, organizing shipments, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.

Shift Details:

Full-Time 1st Shift

• $12.00 per hour Monday
• Friday 7:00am

Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and containers Sort, stage, and organize freight by route or destination Secure loads to prevent damage during transportation Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and warehouse equipment as needed Verify shipment quantities and inspect freight for damage Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow OSHA and company safety policies Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and warehouse staff Meet productivity and attendance expectations

Qualifying Criteria:

Previous warehouse or freight handling experience preferred, but not required Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 35-50 lbs. regularly Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods Basic math and communication skills Ability to work overtime or flexible schedules as needed

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions

INDIG Pay:

$12.00 per hour
