Recycling Sorter

Job Summary We're looking for reliable and hard-working individuals to join our team as Pickers in our Downstream Operation and Shredder area. This is an outdoor role in dusty conditions. All safety equipment is provided except steel toe boots - you'll need to bring your own. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.

Pay:

Starts at $12/hour Responsibilities Sort materials and items based on designated categories and specifications. Forklift certification preferred but not required. Perform loading operations and assist in the movement of materials throughout the facility. Fabricate and repair sorting equipment as necessary to maintain operational efficiency. Clean areas as required to ensure a clean working environment. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Assist in heavy lifting tasks and maintain compliance with safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred, including forklifts and loaders. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in sorting tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively. Familiarity with sanitation practices in industrial settings is a plus.
